My husband and I did the entire 5-mile Loop. We started at the park which made you feel like you were out in the woods, then we proceeded to follow the signs through the residential neighborhoods where some of the trails seemed to take us through people's backyards; all in all it was a decent local hike, urban trekking. Trails were mainly dry with some muddy spots, trails were rocky, wood chips, paved and grassy. We had to park on the street as the gates weren't open for vehicles. We decided to stay local assuming the State Parks would be crowded with this being the first weekend of some of the Covid orders being lifted. This loop wasn't crowded at all.
