My Neighborhood — Friday, May. 8, 2020

It's my daughter's birthday so we decided to do spend some time outside. There are quite a few trails in our neighborhood and we did the Golf Course Trail (Newcastle) today. The trail starts right across the street from the Coal Creek YMCA and follows the road to the Newcastle Golf Course, it will be about 4 miles round trip. There are a few (2-3) steep spots along the route but the view is beautiful at the top. A few muddy spots because of the recent rain. The trail is shaded for the most part until you get closer to the golf course. All in all it was a great hike.
