Getting There
From downtown Olympia, head west on 5th Ave SW. Just past the Deschutes Dam/Capital Lake, stay right to take Olympic St W and take the second exit at the roundabout onto Olympic Way. At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto W Bay Dr NW. In 0.5 mile, turn left onto Brawne Ave NW. In 0.2 mile, turn right onto Rogers St NW. In 0.2 mile, turn right onto Dickinson Ave NW and the trail starts at the end of the road.
Park along Rogers St NW and walk to the trailhead, as there is no parking at the actual trailhead.
Take transit
Take Intercity Transit route 45 to Bowman Ave at Rogers St. From the bus stop, walk east on Bowman Ave toward Rogers St NW to the end of the block, then turn left (north) onto Rogers St NW. In 0.1 mile, turn right onto Dickinson Ave NW. The trail into the woods is at the end of the road.
The park is open daily from dawn to dusk.
