Hiking Hope Island Marine State Park

This isolated little island in south Puget Sound attracts boaters to explore it's short shoreline and hiking trail.

Like other small islands in the south sound, Hope Island is blanketed in old-growth forests, ferns, mushrooms (when in season) and saltwater marshes. Explore the one and a half mile long shoreline, or the two mile long hiking trail that offers a quiet place to spend some time in the woods.
