Getting There
Though there is very little actual parking beyond street parking at the natural area, this is an incredibly easy-to-access green space by public transit.
The Cheasty Natural Area is accessible by the Link Light Rail (Sound Transit Line 1); get off at the Mount Baker stop and walk southwest along Cheasty Boulevard South (off of Martin Luther King Jr. Way S) for about 0.4 mile.
The natural area is also accessible by various King County Metro routes. Route 106 stops at Martin Luther King Jr. WAy S & S Walden St, which is a 0.2-mile walk along S Walden Street/S Della Street, then Cheasty Boulevard S to reach the natural area. Route 7 has a slightly longer walk along S Walden Street from the Rainier Ave S & S Walden St stop, but otherwise has the same directions as the walk for Route 106.
