Today we went for a stroll up meadow hill at Brightwater Park. The hill affords a nice view of the surroundings with some explanatory signs. Trail was in good condition and mostly flat.
More details for reactive dog owners! If you're curious about reactive dogs you can learn more in my bio.
Trail Width: The trail width varies from around 3 feet wide to maybe 10 feet wide. There is a narrow bridge on the way to the hill (heading North from the parking lot).
Visibility: In most places you can see people coming a long ways off. The North end of the park has more trees and is a little bit harder to see people coming.
Pull-offs: Some sections have large grassy areas off to the side where you can get off trail. Heading South from the parking lot has a lot of options. Portions on the North end have more brush and not many places to pull off. There are a couple of bridges but you can easily see if anyone is coming before starting across.
Crowds: We saw a couple dogs in the distance, along with about 5 people on a weekday morning. This trail is usually not too crowded.
Parking: The parking lot has plenty of space and is a single line of spots.

I took the kids on the whole set of trails starting with the story walk and ending on the South Loop and creek lookout climbing the big grassy hill to add a bit of challenge. There are garter snakes birds and blooming flowers, mostly weeds but they still add some color, and then we stopped by flower world to see the goats, llamas, sheep, and chickens. Including both can make for a good leg stretch with the kids and makes it so you are walking a little over 2 miles.

Stayed close to home for some suburban wildlife did both of the loops but the north loop was especially pleasant due to the story walk, which always provides some extra motivation. We found an abundance of wildlife including garter snakes, salamanders, frogs, birds, worms, beetles, snails, and roly polys. The hill climbs are fun to run up and down with the kids (or roll down in my son’s case). We finished our day looking at animals at Flower World and getting ice cream. A nice short day out but still a great hike.

Early MON 26dec2022 morning, i went to Woodinville WA to get my tire replaced. i was early for my appointment, and so i went to Brightwater Park (beside the Waterwaste Treatment facility) for a ~35 mins of walk (09:15 - 09:50) ~1.5 miles of the probably "Meadow Hill Trail" (Map available from >>

i was the 2nd to arrive. The Trail was in good condition, signed, well-maintained, and clean. During my walk, i met a man and his beautiful 18-mo Great Dane "Tux"👍 - they both were very friendly. Saw 2 other Walkers in the distance and 5 ducks in the pond.
Happy Trails & Cheers!
