Born on Earth Day (April 22), Claudia was destined to be a lover of nature. She grew up in a tiny mountain town in Lassen County, California where the only thing to do as a child was play outside, and play outside she did. She went on to get her degree in Environmental Earth Science at UC Berkeley. In her post-graduation scramble to find employment, she was lucky enough to snag a position as a Trails and Communications Specialist at the WTA, thus fulfilling her birth right to be amongst the nature.
