Spent nine years living in Europe (Scotland, Spain and working in Germany, Greece, Italy, Iceland). Hiked throughout. Although raised in San Diego County (CA), lived most of adult life east of the Mississippi. Hiked a lot in Virginia along the AT and did a lot of camping in NC, SC and VA. Moved back to WA, albeit the better, warmer side in 2010 and love it here. Doing as much hiking and camping as work and life allows.
