A Northwest Native, I grew up in the Cascades. My father was a sportsman, and taught me well the basic courtesies and conservation techniques of the backcountry. I believe that our parks and wildernesses belong not to us, but to our children's children's children. It's up to us to make sure that gift is preserved for them.
