Trip Report

Moss Lake — Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
Map of Trail

The road up to the trailhead has multiple potholes.  It is passable for all vehicles but take it slow.

The trail is very well maintained and well marked.  At the trail head there is a map, snap a picture of this, however the names are not exact between the signs and the map. We did the trail called the Loop Trail with the Lake View option, it was actually 4 miles. I expected the loop to be around Moss Lake, we got views of the lake but the trail doesn't loop around the lake. It was 2.5 miles from the parking lot to the edge of the northern edge of the King County boundary, at this point we thought it might end up being 5 miles.  However, there was only about 0.4 miles outside of the King County park boundary and then we re-entered.  We have added a link to our gps map below.
