Southwest Washington > Long Beach Area

The previous reviewer mentioned you have to cross some boulders. You do not.  You start the walk by heading down to the beach from the ample parking area and turn left. The RV campground just above the beach has Private Property signs but when you get to the boulders, ignore the signs and walk up to the sign closest to the boulders.  From there you can see the easement for a 6 ft wide trail that runs along the space between RV park boundary and edge of the little bluff above the beach.  You will also pass a couple of information panels about the area put up by the state park. Once past the boulders you can go down to the beach again and start walking the full loop.  Or stay on that easement trail and continue along past the 2nd information panel until you can see how to get down to the beach at the bay side of the point and walk the loop clockwise.

This is a really wonderful walk. Very little trash and very few people after you have gone a mile.

And as many reviewers have noted this is nowhere near Long Beach.
