A work party with Scouts BSA brushed out the Tucannon Campground and this nearby trail up to the ridge. We only completed the first 0.6 miles or so, but moved 15 logs and removed a LOT of brushy undergrowth. The trail to the ridge becomes much steeper and a bit harder to follow through the grass after this, but the brushy part is now clear. A nice hike close to the campground and state park that can get you into some large 2nd growth forest untouched by the 2005 School Fire and eventually into some beautiful views over the Tucannon Valley.

GreenBeans on Hixon Canyon Trail
Tried to go up this trail and the report is accurate, tough to find a trail when up over a half mile or so in, would be nice if there were survey markers on trees to stay on the trail.
