I did Mt. Washington yesterday and may have drove away with my camera on top of my car about 6:30 pm yesterday (Sept 30, 2022). It was an Olympus TG-6 (red) in a grey neoprene case. If anyone found it please let me know at m.h.98058@gmail.com. It is full of pictures and videos. Even if I could get the SD Card Memory back that would be a bit of a win. After getting back last night and finding it missing I actually drove back to the trailhead 2 hours to look for it to no avail. There was a white pickup truck there overnighting.
I will get a full re-post up soon. Amazing and difficult hike. I went by myself the first time yesterday but used both a helmet and a Garmin inReach Mini for my friend to track me. Going up about 60-70% to the first scree field there is a old tree (stripped) pointing up hill about 4-6 inches in diameter. The trail is rutted and the tree will be under your right arm ascending. There is a HORNET'S NEST about 20-25 ft. off to the left. No problem in the day time but coming down at dusk they attacked me and I got about three stings/bites to the head, one on my right bicep and one on my left hand. Beware if you come down late. I was also stung descending Kendall Katwalk late as well. I think Hornets bed down and don't like to be disturbed towards evening, even if you aren't a real threat.
