Got to the trailhead around 11:30 on a Sunday and there was plenty of parking. Really lovely, hike through the forest. Do mind your step though, horse droppings were common on the parts of the trail that weren't restricted to hikers. We enjoyed picking the ripe thimble berries. At various points the trail is squeezed by the vegetation on either side - we had to backtrack a few times to let hikers coming the other way through. Still, not very crowded, lovely shade, and the lime kiln is a fun destination.
