Silver Peak — Tuesday, Jun. 4, 2019

This one was more challenging and delightful than expected. First of all the road presents challenges. Jeeps ,pickup trucks , Subarus, can make it. For others it’s risky. Route finding is a challenge as much of the trail is still snow cover once you leave the PCT. Post holding presents some hazards even on the PCT. A nice steep rock scramble will take you to the top. But this out of the way peak was just what we were looking for! The gorgeous clear steams made me want to dump out my tap water and indulge.
