Yellow Aster Butte — Monday, May. 29, 2017

I went up here last Monday via the Keep Kool trail again but went higher this time.  I could see the switchbacks up to the Butte so I believe it is accessible.  It was a great day in the woods.  FYI, I always go prepared to spend the night if necessary when hiking in the high areas in snow.  I also wear appropriate footwear (mountaineering boots, gaitors, spikes, snowshoes, etc) and carry a gpsr with summer routes on it.  Know your limit.
