Mount Rainier Area > Chinook Pass - Hwy 410

Midweek, Wednesday, around 10AM is when we embarked on this trail. We came across about 15 people and 5 dogs! It was sunny and cold. I had my son, 1 yr old with me. He wanted to walk up the rocky hike in the beginning but towards the of the hike I had to put him in the pack due to many rocks and how steep it was. Overall the hike was short but steep. There was a few trees down towards the end to climb over but nothing you couldn't easily walk over. No special equipment needed.
