The Rattlesnake Mountain trail was once an alternate hike for getting more solitude...not anymore. This trail has a full parking lot pretty much every weekend of the season. You will have "droves of people" on the trail all the way to Stan's Lookout. As you continue on to Grand Prospect, the crowds thin a bit, but still have plenty of people on the trail. We turned around at Grand Prospect, as it was getting late.
