Government Meadows, Arch Rock — Thursday, Jul. 31, 2014

We rode north from Government Meadows to clear logs for the PCT to Green Pass. removed over 30 logs from that 10 mile section of trail. On Friday, the 1st we rode south and removed a few logs from the trail down to Arch rock. Still two logs between Louisiana Saddle and trail 451. Neither a problem for hikers, one is a walk around for a horse....will need to go back and get it later. We had a report from a through hiker that there were 20 trees down across the trail between Hayden Pass and Martinson's Gap...mostly 18" in diameter per the hiker. Can anyone else confirm this? We had heard that it was clear just a week ago????
