Mount Baring — Monday, Jun. 30, 2014

Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - West
Upper bwol, as seen from the ridge at 4800ft. Notch is roughly at cloud level, at the top of the gully.
Steep, muddy terrain to the ridge. Ridge is in good shape, with few blow downs and no snow. Snow starts at the edge of the bowl at around 4800ft and is continuous to the notch, 400 ft below the summit. Crux is a steep snow bank immediately above the notch. Patches of snow thereafter.
