Olympic Peninsula > Northern Coast

Very beautiful and a great variety of scenery. From green, old growth woods, to drier brush and more beach-like conditions, back into forest. Quiet and peaceful, I out on a rocky beach. Tide too high to go the full length of the beach, I turned back to enjoy the easy climb back up and out of the woods. Never did see the second rusty gate described in the book but it was easy to find my way.
