Road was snow covered at about 5 miles above Mazama. High clearance truck was helpful but saw a Subaru Crosstrek that also made it. Snow had melted some on the road in the way down. Trail was fully snow covered. At places it was easy to walk in trail hiking shoes but higher up where it gets steep, we turned around due to how slippery it was becoming. Our early 20’s son continued on to the ridge. Overall a beautiful hike.
