First time doing this hike and I totally fell in love with it. The road in is in excellent condition. Any car could get here. With the exception of a few trees to step over or crawl under the trail is also in excellent condition (at least as far as Round Lake; past that it detiorates a bit). Big trees, a gazillion switchbacks, spectacular meadows with tons of berries, mountain lakes, and no crowds only a couple hours from Seattle on probably the busiest hiking weekend of the season 🤯
