Amazing hike up Perry Creek and then up Mt Forgotten. Both are hard steep hikes, so be ready for a challenge. Took us roughly 4 hrs to summit. A key route note: For Perry Creek, once you hit Perry Creek Falls, you cross a stream nearby. We then couldn't find the trail and were only able to continue by going left across a very large, very white log.
Otherwise, a few areas where large trees have fallen and you need to climb over. The final 500 ft of elevation to summit Mt Forgotten is quite tough -- basically a scramble up a rocky, very sheer slope. Views are absolutely stunning (also stunning at Mt Forgotten Meadows and the "fake" Mt Forgotten Meadows
Very few ppl on the trail
