I took the last spot in there lot. Vault toilet clean and stocked. Even though the lot was full, the trail wasn’t crowded and I went long periods without seeing anyone. The woods are full of spring green, birdsong and some flowers too. As I sat on the bluff I heard the swoop of a turkey vulture overhead. 4 more followed and they proceeded to put on an aerial show for me.
I’m a creature of habit and usually do these trails in a clockwise loop. Today I went the opposite direction and enjoyed a whole new experience. Beautiful either way!
