Lovely weather, very calm on the beach. The road is fine all the way in, it's paved with no potholes. The toilet was in good condition, and the picnic tables also. Footing was solid with perhaps two or three small muddy patches in 9 miles. Expect some single spider web lines across the narrower trail sections, but I didn't meet any actual spiders. The seaweed on the beach can be deeper in spots than you'd expect so just take a little care there. Overall this park is lovely - it's well signed, mostly it's a gentle grade, and if you don't like the narrow trails you can stick to the roads (which at this time of year are more like wide trails, none of the interior roads are paved). You'll see a few people but mostly just at the trailhead or on the beach itself.
