Lake Ingalls — Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024

Snoqualmie Region > Salmon La Sac/Teanaway

It has been quite a few years since I hiked this trail and was happy to return as it was MUCH better!  Teanaway Road was redone, and the speed limit was now 50 MPH.  The forest service road to the TH has also been redone and it was smooth sailing.  The road repairs save us 30 minutes!  Maybe a dozen cars when we started and a few more on our return.

We encounter goats, marmots, picas, deer, squirrels, and chipmucks.  We did the ridge walk (route finding skills needed) to the lake and then followed the shorter and obvious trail thru the camp area back up the Ingalls Pass. Three tents pitched and 15 more would be added that we passed heading down.

Great hike!
