Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
Ponds

First visit to this reclaimed urban park surrounding the newish treatment plant:

  • The landscaping is still new, but well done, with nature coming back strong, especially in the North.
  • Most trails are wide gravel grades suitable for all.
  • The north area is more forestry, with ponds, and nice covered picnic area  with toilet.
  • The mid/south areas feature wide gravel trails, more manicured.
  • The knoll at the south is worth it for the views, albeit a huff getting up.
  • Easy access and parking from Woodinville.

Will likely return in the spring, or could be really interesting with some snowfall.
