It never occurs to me to go for a hike that starts under the freeway and weaves between the sewage plant. My mom lives nearby so I keep coming back. Ignore the sewage plant and pretend the freeway noise is the ocean. It’s really pretty, especially before sunset. Lots of singing birds. We stayed on the paved trail. It looks pretty lush across the bridge.
Drove to the Mill Town Trail and walked along the waterfront for sunset. Very pretty.

It was so colorful, I took a million pics! I’m eager to see where you hike next. You always seem to know where to go when the seasons change. Will you look for fall color, birds or mushrooms next?

I just saw this! We went for fall color Wednesday and weren't disappointed! Just wish we were still in our younger days and could have gone 3 miles farther! We will hopefully be looking for all 3 in the coming weeks! :)!
