The road has some holes, both the paved road and then the unpaved road to the trailhead, but keeping an eye out is sufficient to prevent any problems. It didn’t really slow me down much at all.
Trail is in great shape, only one tree down across it that was very easy to step over. There are several small creek crossings. None of them required getting my feet wet.
Tons of wildflowers still in bloom, and lots of birds around. Saw a couple small snakes on my way back out around midday and plenty of chipmunks.
