I wish I had thought to wear orange. People were hunting and it looked like they were successful.

I couldn't find a connection to get to Towel Falls, but instead only saw from a distance.

I was looking if possible to use site for Backpacking. it didn't look promising.

Quite a few wildflowers out with more on the way… the camas look like it will really be blooming in the next week or so!

Ticks are also in season.

mostly along an old road, great scenery, very few muddy patches as the snow is almost all gone.

Close to 7 miles round trip. There were a lot of cows on and beside the trail but they got out of our way and did not disturb us. Good hike on a sunny winter day.  Take the extra time to go to the ranch (at trailhead). Ranch history is on kiosk by bathroom

Bring hard copy driving directions for the return trip as you may not have cell service to load navigation.

This trail was very overgrown, to the point that we had a little bit of trouble navigating through them.  This was made worse by the fact that some of the growth was thorny and those thorns had no problem getting through our clothes.  The wildflowers were lovely and the waterfalls were great.  The water level was high so we only saw 2 of the 3 falls.
