Beware of: trail conditions

Very short hike but very pretty falls.  The upper trail to top of falls has a few trees across the path but are not too bad.  There is a bridge that is partially taken out.  Hard to describe see image.  Still usable if careful.

What a wonderful trail for children and for all those interested in history!  The interpretive signs are informative and creative - and much of the path is paved.  I did explore the upper part of trail - but enjoyed the lower section very much.  I could imagine the falls and creek being used to "drive the logs" downstream!

Not a lot of work for lots of reward! Worked beautifully as a stop on the way up to Gardner Cave.

a beautiful little hike to some breathtaking scenery. We hiked both the upper trails and the lower trail. The trails are very well maintained and the some of the trails are even handicap accessible. We will definitely return.

This has always been one of my favorite quick, easy hikes. Since they updated the trail and made it much more safe for all ages, my family really enjoys this trail.
