We had gone up to High Hut and Snow Bowl hut the weekend prior but there was not enough snow to snowshoe.. so we returned this weekend and the snow is perfect! We had to carry our snowshoes up just a short distance (from the lower parking lot) and then hit the snow line. The trees were so pretty with the fresh snow flocking them. Great day with our hiking group!

Not enough snow to bring our snowshoes but still a fun hike. A slight dusting of snow towards the huts. We first hiked up and ate lunch at High Hut, then went and checked out the newly re-built Snow Bowl Hut (it is amazing!). Soon will be plenty of snow to enjoy the snowshoes.
