Trail head was hard to find. The trail was short so if your with small kids very good trail for beginners.

The river is running quite low; despite this still found the trail with its interpretive signs pleasant. An Osprey and an American Goldfinch were seen along the trail.

The Sa Teekh Wa Trail is accessed from downtown Winthrop WA. This 2 mile level round trip runs along the Chewuch River and features historic and environmental interpretive signs. A bridge on the north west end of Winthrop's boardwalk provides access to the trail. A nice walk through a pine forest along a scenic river.
