My family of four (two adults with a 5 yr old and 1 yr old) are always on the hunt for trails that are easy to socially distance on. This trail was perfect for us! Low traveled, versatile, easy to add little patches to your hike. It was beautiful and fairly secluded.

We went out to Ring Hill as I had done trail work there and I wanted to see how it was holding up. The trails are beautiful after a rain and are in relatively good shape. This is a marvelous place close to Seattle to get some peace and quiet. Bleeding heart and candy flower are everywhere and ferns are fronting. There are some larger cedars and other trees here and the paths are gentle and scenic.
The work that the WTA crews did really improves the trails and I'm delighted that the crew work improved drainage and made it much easier to walk. I thought about my fellow volunteers and hiked with a smile. It is always neat to return to a place that one has volunteered to see the results. It's great.
Go out here for a peaceful forest walk.
Kudos to the KCP people for the lovely signs!
