well maintained water in some spots

Beautiful and crowded, as always. The fall foliage is definitely worth a trip out. There were a few puddles here and there, but it's still passable in trail runners or even sneakers if need be.

A well maintained trail with clean & stocked bathrooms at beginning. A lovely view at top on a cool fall day.
There are a few leaves & some water on the trail but nothing too slippery.
A grateful shoutout to the few people who either stepped aside for the uphill hikers or acknowledged others on the trail. It would be nice if this was a more common practice.
Rattlesnake lake is very low with lots of exposed tree stumps. Here’s hoping we get a good rain & snowpack this winter.

A couple of branches on the trail, very easy to go around. 

Fall color is here, but mostly yellow.  Probably for not much longer. 

Toilets are open. 

We arrived around 7 am on Saturday morning to beat the rain. 

Lots of fall colors and beautiful leaves right now! Not much of a sunrise or view at the summit. It was very windy, and it started to sprinkle. 

We saw quite a few people coming up on our way back down. Always a good work out when the weather isn't the best.
