truly beautiful! the beginning/end is super steep but totally worthy it. some paths are narrow but not impossible. there are some trees you have to climb over as well. i recommend this trail to anyone who wants to work for the beautiful view of the river!

After a full day of hikes, we wanted to get in one more before sunset. Since we were staying just down the road at Paca Pride (in a yurt!) Old Robe Canyon was perfect. As indicated in the description, the trail is closed after a mile, but even so, it’s really beautiful and interesting. Trail is good (Some water) and the river is gorgeous. We just made it out as the sun went down! Would love to do this in its entirety someday.

WTA work party today. Along with my two teenage sons, we cleared many logs that were blocking the trail. Work will continue tomorrow!

This trail definitely need some help. It's a fairly wide path from the road down to the river, but is overgrown and washed out along the river to the point where the trail is closed. It would be awesome if WTA work party in collaboration with Snohomish County could find a way to repair the trail beyond the closed section, but they would likely find some of the same challenges that forced miners to abandon this area over 100 years ago.
