Milk Creek trail is snow free nearly to jct with PCT. There's a crew currently taking out the blowdowns, that is, when they aren't chasing their goats down the trail. This one goat didn't seem to want to go hiking that day. Milk Creek is a delightful trip. Nice views up to Glacier Peak.

Visited Mica Lake via Revord Lake High Route, was suprised to see two parties at Box Lake and three ant the next lake. Didn't see any one else until descent. No one was at Mica Lake. Route is pretty rough and ice axes needed for security. New snow on Glacier Peak. Milk creek trail had just been brushed.and blowdows cut. High Buck season starts on Monday and I assume there will be hunters in area. Rained hard Saturday night but there was only dizzle and sun on Sunday.
