Lots of space at SE 9th Pl parking lot. 3 cars with space for 10+. My wife's first hike after surgery she just went out and back on the lower trail (relatively flat 1.2) - but close to road so lots of road noise. I did the full loop and the upper trail is quieter so you can hear the birds, etc. The upper trail has a couple of overlooks with benches. One nearest 17th entrance views Kelsey Creek farm. Trillium and others plants were blooming. Rained over night and parts of the trail were soggy/muddy with some having branches/log in the mud to walk across. Parking is very slim at this trail head and is mostly on street parking in front of houses. Please be respectful, as for now there are not any no parking signs. The map and trailhead informational links are at the footer of the trip report. You can go in either at the northern end of 128th and approach the open space area to the northwest of the map clockwise or at the eastern end of 17th and hit the southeastern loop first. I choose to come in and do the SE loop counter clockwise and let myself feed into the open space trail when I hit it at 1PM on the clock face of the loop. This is another nice wooded area in Bellevue, but with a bit more up and down elevation changes. It makes for a decent walking work out. There are also quite a few less people on this trail (maybe because of limited access) so if you're looking for a more solitary jaunt, this is a good choice.
