Easy hike with little elevation. I recommend hiking around the lake once you get there to add another mile or so. It requires some mild trail finding but if you stay as low as possible it’s pretty easy. There are some cool streams, waterfalls and foliage on the south side of the lake. The deer flies were horrible once at the lake. Easy access to the lake if you’re looking to swim or paddleboard.

Note -- this isn't a recent trip! I'm posting this mostly for my own tracking.

We camped in Lake Wenatchee and drove to the trailhead of hidden lake. The drive took you along Lake Wenatchee and was decent view. Closer to the trailhead the road become rough, but still drivable.

The trail was quiet and beautiful. Not a difficult one, and it gave you a rewarding lake at the end :) The rocks and tree formations allowed us to have some fun walking around the lake too.

While staying at Nason Creek campground we wanted to check this hike out. We got to the trailhead around 10:30am on a gorgeous Saturday and had no issue finding a parking spot. The trail is short but has several fallen trees that you will have to navigate past, no big deal for humans but might be trickier for the dogs. The lake was gorgeous and had room to spread out. it looked like you could cross the creek and descend down to Lake Wenatchee to make it a loop but we elected to just head back. Awesome bang for your buck on this hike!

This was a great intro hike for some of the younger ones in my family! The views were great and it was just tough enough to get a workout in! If you are experienced, this is a fun easy out and back hike.

We decided to complete the loop (can be found on alltrails), which meant crossing where the lake drains into the large creek. We got our feet wet trying to cross the logs, oops! Then at the end of the trail to the campground, we had to barefoot cross another swollen creek. It was doable, but definitely a mini adventure!

Mosquitos were out and annoying. We left with several itchy bites, and reminded me I should carry some sort of OFF.

Road was pretty potholed with lots of deeper puddles. We have high clearance vehicle and were able to get through it just fine. I would caution lower clearance vehicles, but I think it's passable.
