Very nice easy trail. There were 2 fallen trees on the way but even my not very fit parents in their 60s managed to overcome them easily.
Enjoyed our time at the lake despite some mosquitoes (they were more numerous at trailhead).

Easy, beautiful trail. Mosquitos were wild, got home and noticed about 100 bites all on my booty. Protect your booty, buy bug repellent I beg of you! View was definitely worth it tho!

Overall a nice, easy trail with a nice payoff in Hidden Lake.

July 2022: One very large fallen tree with a emerging path around it, heavy bugs, needed to carry smaller children a few times.

First time here. Quick and easy up to lake. Got 2.65 miles RT with added attempt to loop lake.

The road to trail head is covered with snow. Our vehicle does not have snow tires so we had to walk 1-1.5 mile from our parking lot to the trail head. I had microspikes which helped a moderate amount throughout the hike.


The view was gorgeous - but as of today’s trail condition I wouldn’t recommend taking the risk of moderate avalanche and the possibility of encountering a wild animal as there’s no hikers around.
