Read about this Urban Trail in the Washington Trail magazine. Great trails over creeks and along ponds and even climbed a steep hill. Enjoyed the Dahlia garden and found the Educational Center very interesting. Only downside is the noise from nearby traffic.

Nice area to walk but.. would. It recommend making a special trip out. Neat place for the kids to venture and enjoy the outdoors

If you are in the neighborhood this is a nice place to stretch your legs, though I would not really endorse a special trip out. That being said, I spotted an hour-long rain window and hightailed it outside. Stringing together all the loops netted me about 3 miles, and while they are all easy trails it was nice to get out and see the sights. No problem to navigate and good for all ages and abilities, this is a nice little neighborhood park for when you cannot get out for a more "wild" hike.

I was able to get a quick, sunny walk in with my dog Blue before the clouds rolled in. We stayed on the North Habitat trails and visited the upper and lower ponds.

Lovely day, easy hike (stroll). Lots ot traffic noise since it is predominantly next to Highway 9. Several ponds with waterfowl. lots of birds. (canada geese, hooded merganzers, ruddy duck, king fishers, red-wing blackburd, others). Sign said cougar had been spotted on the north side of the property. Wooden viewing platforms were a bit slick. nice walk on my way to Costco (a block away). :)
