Park and go across the little bridge. Walk a little farther and you'll see the start of the left-over town. It's pretty neat but SUUUUPER MUDDY right now! I ended up with nettles and had to bathe the pup the moment I got home. Be careful, wear pants, enjoy the cool, run-down town!

We went on a free weekend when a Discover Pass wasn't required to park. It was roughly a 20 minute drive from the west side of Oly. Finding the safe ruins was fairly simple and there was space to park across the road from it. We headed directly north from the parking area and were able to find the bridge easily as well as many remnants of structure foundations to the left of the bridge. Please be aware that the area is very muddy this time of year. If you head further north from the bridge (a bit to the right and onward) you'll eventually notice what's left of a large structure (looks like the mill) as well as many metal ruins and items in the surrounding area that are overgrown. It's kind of fun to wander the area and see what kind of things are sticking out of the ground.

Like others have stated this is not really a hike. It is more of a roadside exploration.

Dark, dank and spooky. This is a very easy walk in the woods (I don't even want to call it a hike). You park right on Bordeaux RD and walk a couple hundred yards into the woods and cross a wooden footbridge (see below). Great spot to bring novice hikers, kids or someone that is not sure if they like the idea of traipsing miles through the woods. This would be a fun hike to do around Halloween. It would also be fun to do in the Fall or Spring when the sunlight is coming in at a low angle through the trees. We saw old concrete and brick structures, evidence of an old mill and the old vault right next to the road.
