Embarking on this trail means that you will be trespassing on private property. The structures you seek are not accessible. Not joking. Legal action can be taken against you. There are signs indicating that it's on private property and that there is video surveillance. I ventured forth anyways because this is a place I used to go when I was younger and I never had a problem in the past. I encountered the property owner who became aware of my presence through the security camera. He was quite aggravated and proceeded to tell me about all the problems they've been having with vandalism, erosion, litter, homelessness, the list goes on. I feel fortunate that he doesn't seem to be pursuing legal action against me, but we'll see. Many of the websites hosting information about how to access the abandoned logging town have been sued. I understand the appeal of Bordeaux, but I encourage you to find a different trail.
